This Institute was started at Tathawade since 1990 on rented basis. The Institute’s workshop and Administrative building’s construction started in 2006. But due to scarcity of funds, the construction work was going with a slow pace. After getting enough funds in 2009, the construction got completed in 2010 Dec and in Jan2011 the Institute started working on a full-fledged basis at Bhare in Mulshi Taluka. Hon. Supriyatai Sule took personal efforts in getting DPDC funds for construction of the building, for restarting the electricity connection and for getting the problem of encroachment solved.
The Institute was running in a private place since 1999. In 2006, 1.46 crores were sanctioned in the budget for the construction of the building. But in the revised estimated costs of the work, the expenses for the construction of this building amounted to Rs 22.5 crores which were sanctioned in 2010 budget. Funds of Rs.50 lakhs are available for the building in 2010-11 and its construction would be completed till March 2011 and the Institute would be fully ready on Government land. Hon. Supriyatai was instrumental in getting administrative sanctioned to the improved budget for the building from Mantralya, getting funds, giving road for going to the Institute, giving instructions to PWD for doing early construction of the building, etc.
The said Institute which is situated near Baramati is established way back in 1970. Due to rapid industrialization in the area, there was a need to enhance the capacity of this Institute and hence new divisions were introduced here in 2008-09. Additional workshop, centre for excellence building, girls hostel are all in completion stage in the Institute. These works got funds of almost 3 crores from DPDC in the year 2009 and 2010. For getting all these works done Hon. Surpriyatai Sule took joint meetings of PWD, MSEB and Technical Education Department. Hon. Supriyatai also personally went to the Institute for their pending works and got it done.
This Institute was working in a private place since 1995. Since 2007, now it is shifted to Government land. Hon. Supriyatai Sule gave personal visits to the Institute to get DPDC funds for the construction of this building, providing of Feeder line, speedy work of construction of hostel.
The said Institute was in private property since 1997 and then shifted in Government property in 2009. Hon. Supriyatai Sule visited the Institute and also conducted meetings of concerned officials to start new technical courses, getting funds for the construction of new building, construction of hostel building, getting funds for the construction of first floor of the building. At present the first floor of the building is completed and additional workshop and hostel work is in final stage.
Currently the Institute is working in Government property. The work of the construction of centre for excellence and hostel is in the final stage. For solving the problem of the construction and other issues Hon. Supriyatai Sule played an important role.
A total of 6 Govt. institutions are there in Baramati Loksabha Constituency and for all these 6 Institutes Hon. MP Supriyatai Sule went personally and conducted meetings of concerned officials to solve the problems of building construction, MSEB, land acquisition, encroachments and most important work of getting funds and it is due to her efforts that all these it is are functioning properly today.
